Hi! I'm Bowen Zhou
The first time I saw a photograph of Earth, I imagined what it would be like to experience outer space. When I obtained my first iPad, I became curious about how digital systems could feel spatial, navigable, and real. Those early questions shaped how I approach product design—not as surface-making, but as the construction of new interaction possibilities.
I’m trained at Yale School of Architecture and the Rhode Island School of Design. I’m most effective in environments that value clarity, iteration, and proactive ownership, and where design advances through clear artifacts,  collaboration, and shared system understanding.

Across my work, I’m driven by a consistent question: how can design function as a generative system—one that enables interaction, adapts to use, and supports real-world complexity rather than prescribing fixed outcomes?
